Asplund Bookkeeping Company ("we," "us," or "our") takes the privacy of every website visitor and client seriously. Bookkeeping work depends on trust, and this policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to the bookkeeping services we provide.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, email us, or call us, we receive your name, email address, phone number if you share it, and anything you choose to tell us about your business.
Client financial records. If you become a client, we access the records needed to do the work: bank and credit card statements, accounting software data, invoices, receipts, payroll summaries, and similar documents. We only collect what the engagement requires.
Website usage data. Our hosting provider records basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and the date and time of each visit. This is standard server logging and is not used to identify you personally.
How we use information

How long we keep information
Client financial records are kept for as long as needed to provide services and to satisfy legal and tax retention periods, after which they are securely deleted or returned. Messages from people who do not become clients are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and follow up.
Scheduling
Consultations are booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. When you choose a time, the details you enter (such as your name, email address, and any notes) are collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can prepare for the call. Calendly handles that information under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Calendly may set its own cookies on its scheduling pages.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You may also opt out of communications from us. To make a request, use the contact details below and we will respond promptly.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page always reflects the latest version.
